Three taken to hospital after two-car crash on A90

Three people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Aberdeenshire.

Emergency services were called out to the A90, south of Fordoun, at about 15:40.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said: "Three ambulances, a trauma team and a special operations response team (SORT) were dispatched to the scene."

Three patients were transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines attended the crash.
