A 17-year-old boy has died following a single-vehicle crash on a rural road in Lincolnshire.

Police said the VW Polo crashed shortly after 09:30 GMT on Sunday at the junction of Burgh Road with Scald Gate on Old Fen Bank, near Wainfleet St Mary - a village close to Skegness.

A female passenger was taken to hospital with injuries described as "potentially life-changing".

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police.
