A bus taking pupils home from school in West Lothian had to be evacuated after catching fire.
Students from Linlithgow Academy were on board the double decker vehicle, operated by E&M Horsburgh, when smoke began billowing from the engine at about 12:50 on Friday.
West Lothian Council confirmed no-one was hurt in the incident on Blackness Road in the Springfield area and pupils were picked up by another vehicle.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent two fire engines to the scene to extinguish the flames.
A council spokesperson said: "We have been advised that there were no injuries, thankfully, and all pupils disembarked very quickly.
"All pupils were picked up in another vehicle."
E&M Horsburgh has been contacted for comment.
