Police say the robbery happened in Prestwick Close in Nottingham

A boy has been arrested after a man was threatened with a machete during a robbery in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said the man was also lunged at and had their bike stolen in Prestwick Close in Strelley on Thursday night.

It happened during an arranged meeting to buy an electronic item for the man's bike, according to the force.

On Friday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion on robbery.

Det Sgt Chris Mavers said: "Investigations into this incident are still ongoing.

"As such, we are still very keen to speak to anyone else who may have witnessed it or have any information which could help us with our inquiries."
