Man taken to hospital after assault in Newquay
A woman in her 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident

A man has been taken to hospital with injuries to his foot, hand and head after an assault in Newquay.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were sent to Trenance Road on Monday at about 22:50 BST.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital.
A woman in her 40s, from Newquay, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
The force has urged anyone with information to get in touch.
