Police plea for witnesses after man dies in crash

A driver has died after his car came off the road at a junction, police have said.

The man in his 30s died at the scene of the crash at the A40 Oxford Road junction in Denham, Buckinghamshire at about 00:00 GMT on Saturday.

He was the only person in the black Ford Fiesta and no other vehicles were involved.

Thames Valley Police said anyone who saw the incident or may have relevant dashcam footage should contact detectives.

PC Matthew Denty said: "We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses who may have been at the scene and not spoken to the police to please get in touch."

The victim's next of kin have been notified and were being supported by officers, the force added.
