E-scooter rider dies after village road collision

An e-scooter rider has died after he suffered serious injuries in a road traffic collision in a village.
Northamptonshire Police said the victim in his 60s is believed to have fallen from the e-scooter on Main Road in Duston, Northamptonshire at about 20:00 BST on Saturday.
The man was taken for treatment following the single-vehicle collision but died at Northampton General Hospital on Sunday.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information about the collision to contact them on 101.
