A non-league football club said it was trying to identify a small group of fans who behaved in a "wholly unacceptable" way at an away game.
The incident occurred during Kettering Town's 2-0 win in the Southern League Premier Central division at Banbury United on Tuesday.
A video on social media appears to show a fence inside the ground being vandalised, but this has not been confirmed by either club or the police.
Kettering said in a statement that once the individuals were identified "appropriate banning orders will be issued".
The statement, posted on social media, external, said the club had been made aware of "a video circulating on social media that showed disorderly behaviour by a small number of away supporters" during the game.
It said: "Such behaviour is wholly unacceptable totally and will not be tolerated."
The club said it had already recognised some of those involved and was working identify the others.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the vast majority of our supporters [who] consistently represent the club with exemplary conduct and unwavering support," the statement added.
Thames Valley Police and Banbury United, in Oxfordshire, have been contacted for comment.
