A man had his BMW stolen after he stopped on the M4 when he thought he was being pulled over by police.

The driver was going westbound near junction 5 for Langley, Slough, when a blue Seat driving behind him flashed blue lights at about 01:00 GMT on 13 January.

He got out of his car before a man from the Seat jumped into the BMW and drove off. The Seat was later found abandoned between junctions 5 and 6.

Two men, aged 19 and 23, from West Drayton and a third man, aged 20, from Swindon, were arrested on suspicion of impersonating police and car theft.

All three were later released on bail.
