Man charged with murder after woman's death

A 45-year-old man has been charged with murder, following the death of a woman who was found seriously injured at a residential property on Tuesday morning .
West Yorkshire Police responded to a report of a concern for safety at an address on Airedale Avenue in Cottingley, Bingley at approximately 10.43 on 11 March.
An ambulance was called but Michelle Egge-Bailey, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Stephen Lawton, 45, of Airedale Avenue, Cottingley, Bingley, has been charged with murder and appeared before magistrates in Leeds earlier where he was remanded in custody.
Mr Lawson will appear at Bradford Crown Court on 14 March for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
