Woman arrested after child hit by car

A woman has been arrested after a child was struck by a car in Leicestershire.
Police said they were called to Station Road in Market Bosworth at 15:16 BST on Thursday .
Officers confirmed a boy was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. His age has not been shared.
A 45-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to provide a specimen and is in custody.
