A motorway crash has led to lengthy delays for thousands of motorists, with queues stretching back eight miles.
National Highways Yorkshire said a collision had resulted in the closure of lanes two and three of the eastbound M62 between Junction 22 for Denshaw and Junction 23 for Huddersfield.
While the motorway has now fully reopened, delays of up to 90 minutes remained on the opposite carriageway heading towards Greater Manchester, said National Highways Yorkshire.
Normal traffic conditions are not expected until about 10:30 GMT.
