Herring Bridge due to close for five nights
- Published
A £121m bridge is due to close for five nights to highway traffic for "required maintenance".
Herring Bridge in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, will not be in operation between 20:00 and 06:00 BST from Monday to overnight Friday. It will fully reopen on Saturday.
Norfolk County Council said signed diversion routes through Haven Bridge have been put in place during the bridge closure.
River traffic will not be affected, and all vessels should continue to follow the standard booking procedure.
A council spokesperson apologised for any inconvenience and thanked people for their patience while this work was being carried out.
