Woman injured in car, van and coach crash

A woman has been seriously injured in a crash that involved a car, van and a coach.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers had been called to St Albans Road, Torquay, at about 09:25 BST on Wednesday.
The force said a 66-year-old female pedestrian - who was close to the crash scene - had suffered life-threatening injuries and remained in hospital.
An 87-year-old man from Torquay was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, but has since been released on bail.
Police said the crash involved a Ford Focus and two parked vehicles - a Volkswagen van and a Mercedes coach.
A female passenger in the van suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, officer said.
The road was closed while the scene was examined by specialist forensic collision investigators.
