A man has appeared in Douglas Courthouse charged with attempted murder.

Taylor Murphy, 19, has been charged with seven counts including possession of an offensive weapon namely a knife, burglary, two counts of robbery of vehicles, taking another vehicle and theft.

The charges span 5 and 6 October in the Maughold area.

Murphy, of High View Road, Douglas, has been remanded in custody and will next appear in court on Tuesday via live link.
