Emergency work by the National Grid will partially close one of Somerset's busy commuter routes.

Work begins on Monday 10 March to maintain power for nearly 2,000 homes in Somerset along the A358. A one-way traffic system will be in place from the Manor Road junction to the Greenway Road junction in Taunton for up to four weeks.

National Grid said it plans to carry out the work for six days a week until 23:00 GMT every night.

While the A358 is partially closed, a signposted diversion route will take drivers along Silk Mills Road.
