A finance company in Guernsey has opened a new office in London to provide a base ahead of the UK's general election.
Guernsey Finance, which is a finance centre partly run by the government, has opened the site in Petty France in Westminster.
Chief executive Rupert Pleasant said he was "determined that Guernsey's role in the UK economy is well understood".
He said the new office would "help to facilitate the work we have planned for the next 12 months".
It comes after Guernsey Finance’s recent report, external into the value of Guernsey's financial services to the UK economy.
It found the island channels £57b of international capital investment into the UK.
