Insp Pete Giesens, from the Paignton neighbourhood police team, said officers were trying to locate the owners through reports of stolen goods.

He said people should contact police if they believe they are the owner of the seized property.

"Police teams across Torbay will not tolerate these crimes, and our officers will be doing what they can to ensure offenders are arrested," he said.
