Man in his 80s hurt during break-in

A man in his 80s was treated in hospital after he was hit on the head during a burglary.
Four people broke into the property in Ersham Road, Hailsham, at about 00:30 on Saturday, Sussex Police said.
The man was threatened and handed over a quantity of cash.
Police carried out an extensive search of the area with dogs and a drone, but no suspects were identified.
The force is appealing for anyone with information or video footage to come forward.
