People in Jersey have been invited to mark King Charles III's birthday at a special event.
Jersey's Lieutenant Governor Jerry Kyd has invited the island to a reception in Government House in St Saviour on Friday on the eve of King Charles' official birthday.
The Lieutenant Governor's office said the event would feature music from the Les Quennevais School Steel Band and La Ronde Concert Band along with a 21-gun salute.
The office said everyone was welcome to attend the event, which would start at 19:00 BST and has a smart casual dress code.
Along with his actual birthday on 14 November, the King has a second celebration on the second Saturday of June called Trooping the Colour.
The event has marked the British monarchs' official birthdays for more than 260 years.
