Missing man James Giles 'found safe' - police

Guernsey Police has said a man who had been missing since Tuesday has been found "safe".

James Giles was reported missing at 06:55 BST after he left his address in the Castel.

Police said officers conducted a number of searches across the island, carried out CCTV inquiries and spoke to potential witnesses.

In a statement to social media, external, officers thanked members of the public "who had been in touch in the last two days with information".
