A man who was arrested following reports of a rape on a footpath in Norwich has been released on bail.

The incident allegedly happened between Prince of Wales Road and the Riverside retail park at about 23:30 BST on Wednesday.

Norfolk Police arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of rape and sexual assault and took him into custody for question.

He has since been released on bail until 22 October.
