Man suffers serious injuries in bus collision

A pedestrian who was hit by a bus has "serious but not life-threatening" injuries, police said.
Emergency services were called to a collision involving a bus on Main Road in Broomfield, Chelmsford, at about 17:50 BST on Sunday.
Essex Police said a male pedestrian was taken to hospital by paramedics where his injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers cordoned off part of the road to traffic and left the scene at about 22:00.
