A company has pulled a plan to sell alcohol at a chicken bar where illegal workers were found.

The permission for Chicken N Beer in Stanfield Road, Bournemouth, was revoked in May after immigration officials saw a man and a woman run out of it in February.

Another company, Clouds Brands Ltd, applied for a new licence but Dorset Police said it had "significant concerns" about the relationship between its owner and the man previously responsible for the bar.

The application had been due to be discussed at BCP Council's licensing sub-committee on Wednesday but chairman David Flagg said it had been withdrawn. It had been adjourned until then last month.
