Thousands of visitors are expected to attend a Wolverhampton park at the weekend for the annual Vaisakhi celebrations.
The free cultural festival will take place between 12:00-17:00 BST at West Park on Sunday 4 May.
Speeches by religious leaders, family entertainment, including a fun fair and live music performances, as well as free food will all be on offer throughout the event.
A parade from the Guru Nanak Satsang Gurdwara starting on Cannock Road will take place before the event at 08:30.
Vaisakhi is the Sikh New Year festival, and this year marks the 326th anniversary of the creation of the Khalsa Order and making of Saint-Solider by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699.
Those attending the festival by car are being reminded to park responsibly in the area, or to use nearby car parks on Fold Street and Clifton Street, as there will be limited parking surrounding West Park.
To accommodate the festival, road closures will also be in place from 08:00 to 18:00 on the following roads:
Lansdowne Road
Park Avenue
Park Road East - closed between junctions with Park Road West/Southgate and Devon Road
Park Road West - closed between junctions with Park Road East/Southgate and Summerfield Road
Southgate.
City of Wolverhampton Council said further details had been sent to residents who would be affected.
