A car has been burnt out in Limavady, County Londonderry, in what police are treating as a racially-motivated hate crime.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) told BBC News NI they received a report at 02:00 GMT on Friday that a car was on fire in the Irish Green Street area of the town.
The PSNI said the car has been completely destroyed and that scorch damage was caused to a garden wall, hedge and telephone pole.
They appealed for information and said their inquiries are ongoing.
"We would be keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or mobile footage of what happened that we could review," they added.
DUP councillor Aaron Callan told BBC News NI: "There is absolutely no place for such actions in our community, and those responsible must be brought to justice.
"Limavady is a welcoming town and we must all stand together against hate and intimidation in any form."
