Firefighters remain at an industrial unit after a blaze at a barn containing tyres and machinery.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Brooks Road, in Raunds, just before 19:00 GMT on Sunday.

People living nearby were asked to close doors and windows because of the large amount of smoke. The fire service said it also removed "a number of gas cylinders" from an adjacent shed as a "precaution".

One fire engine remained at the scene on Monday morning. The fire service said there would be an investigation to find out what caused it.
