Two teens have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent

Two teenage boys have been arrested after a man in his 20s was stabbed at a seaside resort.

Dorset Police were called to Lower Gardens near Bournemouth Pier at 18:20 BST on 26 August after a local man was stabbed.

A 17-year-old boy from East Dorset was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released under investigation.

A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on bail.

South Western Ambulance Service took the victim to hospital with an injury that was not believed to be life-threatening.
