A murder investigation has been opened after a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in Nottingham.
Police said it was called to Abbotsford Drive, in the St Ann's area of the city, at about 12:50 GMT, when the man was found with stab wounds.
Despite receiving attention from paramedics, he died a short time later.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Ch Supt Nick Waldram said: "Detectives are already working to understand exactly what happened in the moments before, during and after this incident.
"They want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything which could assist our inquiries.
"No matter how insignificant you think your information may be, we want to hear from you.
"People in the area will understandably be concerned, but we currently believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public."
