Laura Kennedy snapped Loch Tarff, near Fort Augustus, as it was obscured by dense fog while she was heading back from a walk near the Falls of Foyers.

"These ducks got a little too close for comfort at Monikie Country Park in Angus," said Liz Roger.

Glasgow's Riverside Museum and the tall ship Glenlee. This picture was taken by Christine Montgomery through the new Govan-Partick bridge.

Jimmy Mason spotted a little red squirrel on an icy mound while he was on an early morning walk at Loch Leven nature reserve.

"The freezing fog has taken a liking to Dunblane golf club," said Jim Reavey.

Grant McLean took this picture while hiking on Buachaille Etive Beag, a mountain ridge that connects two munros.

"Dougie the alpaca braving the cold in search of some carrots," said Heather Watson in Strathpeffer.
