Darts player to support fundraiser for bipolar charity

A family fun day in Surrey to raise money for a bipolar charity is being supported by a famous darts player who has the condition.

The Bipolar UK event in Chertsey on Saturday is being backed by James Wade, who became an ambassador for the charity in 2016.

Mr Wade was diagnosed with bipolar and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in 2012.

"Not only will it be lots of fun, it will also mean more people become aware of Bipolar UK and all the good work they’re doing to support people who live [with] the condition,” he said.

The event will be hosted at the Great Cockcrow Railway in partnership with the Rotary Bipolar eClub and the Chertsey Rotary Club.

Mr Wade will be available for photos and autographs at the event and those attending can enter a draw to play a short game with him.
