West Sussex County Council's leader will take to the BBC Radio Sussex Hot Seat to discuss issues facing the area.
Paul Marshall will answer questions from Radio Sussex listeners on Thursday, 10 July, as he addresses issues the council is facing.
Issues on the agenda include the state of West Sussex's roads, as well as pressures on the council's budget.
Vicki Berry, executive editor for BBC Radio Sussex "I am delighted that Paul Marshall is joining us on the Hot Seat on BBC Radio Sussex. It's a great opportunity for our listeners to put their questions to those in charge.
She added: "I am particularly interested in hearing his views on the pressures on secondary school places, after Romesh Ranganathan raised the issue nationally."
First elected to represent Storrington in 2017, Mr Marshall was chosen as the council leader and head of the ruling Conservative group in 2019.
Mr Marshall is also now seeking to become the elected Mayor of Sussex as he looks for the Conservative Party nomination for the role.
Working previously as a commercial director and now owning a consultancy firm, Mr Marshall lives in Washington village with his wife and two daughters.
Mr Marshall will be asked about issues including the pressures on services for children with special educational needs and disabilities (Send) and the allocation of secondary school places.
Other issues on the agenda include the future of local government in West Sussex amid plans for devolution, the fight against potholes and the new Lyminster Bypass.
Mr Marshall will speak on Thursday to presenter Danny Pike between 09:00 and 10:00 BST on BBC Radio Sussex.
Listeners will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions.
