A man in his 50s has been arrested after police were called to reports of threats being made by a man armed with a knife.

Norfolk Police's armed response unit was called to Havenbridge House on North Quay, Great Yarmouth at 18:57 BST on Tuesday.

The road was partly closed for 90 minutes during the incident, and no-one was injured.

The suspect was taken to the town's police investigation centre for questioning and has been released on bail until 7 August.

Diversions were put in place on North Quay between Stonecutters Way and St Francis Way while police dealt with the situation.
