Man jailed for sexually abusing two young girls

A man who sexually abused two young girls and paid nearly £5,000 for adults to abuse children around the world has been jailed.
Nathan Lovell, of Opportune Road, Wisbech, abused the girls between 2021 and June 2023, according to Cambridgeshire Police.
He was found guilty of four counts of sexually assaulting a child under 13 by touching and 10 counts of either arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child under 13.
Lovell, 33, was sentenced to 14 years in prison at Cambridge Crown Court.
Officers discovered indecent images of children on his phone when they arrested him, including images considered the most severe, Cambridgeshire Police said.
Screen recordings were also discovered of Lovell taking part in online conversations paying for children to be abused by other adults - including promising a puppy in payment to an adult about to abuse a young girl.
He had paid about £4,800 for the online child sex abuse, police said.
Det Con Ollie Plant said: "Our thoughts are with the two young girls targeted by Lovell in the most horrific of ways, and his other victims who were targeted online.
"We are pleased he has now been brought to justice and hope the sentence gives his victims and their families some closure from this traumatic period in their lives."
Lovell pleaded guilty to four charges of making indecent images or videos of children.
He was given a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting his sexual assault victims for 25 years and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
