Powderham Castle can hold up to 25,000 people

Duran Duran are set to play in a Devon castle next summer - one of only two UK shows the band is performing next year.

The multi-award winning group will take to the stage at Powderham Castle on 3 July 2025 to perform their hits which iclude 'Hungry like the Wolf' and 'Rio'.

Two days after that, they will be performing at Chelmsford City Live at Chelmsford City Racecourse.

Live Nation promoter Oliver Mason said it will bring "a fantastic buzz to Exeter and be a huge boost for the local economy".

Duran Duran are coming to Devon

The announcement of the Powderham Castle date - one of only two UK dates next year - was made live on BBC Radio Devon.

The band will be joined by Nile Rodgers and CHIC to headline new music festival Powderham Presents.

Powderham Castle can hold a capacity of up to 25,000 people per day.

Mr Mason added: "To bring a stadium-filling, iconic band like Duran Duran, with such massive hits, to Devon is incredibly exciting."

More acts are set to be announced for the festival.
