Two charged in connection with cannabis farm

Two men have been charged with production of cannabis after a large growing operation was found at a farm.

Officers found 1,500 mature cannabis plants as well as vacuum-packed crops during a raid on the site in Kempsey, Worcestershire, on Tuesday morning.

West Mercia Police said two men, aged 24 and 33, had been charged with producing a controlled Class B substance.

They are due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
