Casualty treated for injuries after flats fire

The fire started in the early hours of Wednesday morning

A resident has suffered suspected serious injuries in a fire at a block of flats in Cornwall.
Thirty residents were evacuated after the blaze broke out on Prospect Place, Penzance at about 01:00 BST on Wednesday.
Fire, police and the ambulance service attended the scene.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said the casualty remained in hospital and inquiries were ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
