Celebrations as youth group gets new home

Volunteers and users of a youth group in Bodmin are celebrating after securing its first ever permanent home.
For years, KBSK had to use church halls and community centres across the area to deliver its services.
The group offers sessions in the performing arts and other youth work, focusing on helping disadvantaged families.
Now, thanks to a grant from the Youth Investment Fund, KBSK has finally got a permanent, purpose-built home called The Space.
KBSK founder and managing director Adie Dove said: "It means everything because it means everything to our young people and our community.
"A dedicated youth space is needed now more than ever before and so it truly is an honour to be delivering this for our community."
The new centre will provide an indoor social area for young people.
The aim is to support children and families in times of need as well as offering a varied time-table of activity, including dance, education, youth nights and workshops.
KBSK has been given a Youth Investment Fund grant of £400,000, one of 43 youth services across England to be helped by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, external and Social Investment Business, external.
