Annual baby and child loss event set to be held

An annual service to commemorate baby and child loss will be held in Slough later.
The Vishaal Foundation, external, set up by Madhuri Bedi who lost her son Vishaal at 29 weeks, will hold the event at Herschel Park from 18:30 BST. It is part of the Wave of Light, an international event held on the last day of Baby Loss Awareness Week, external.
People around the world will light candles at 19:00, with each of them shining for at least an hour to symbolise the light the babies and children brought to their lives.
At the Slough event, a lantern will be provided for people attending and the service will be accompanied by the Sing For You Choir.
