Man suffers life-changing injuries in stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after a stabbing outside a property in Derby, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Pear Tree Crescent in Normanton just after 00:25 BST on Wednesday.
The road was closed during the early hours but reopened just before 05:45, Derbyshire Police said.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody, the force added.
A spokesperson for the force said: "While we understand reports of this incident will cause concern in the local community, we are treating this as an isolated incident."
