A military museum is celebrating its 10th anniversary with new events and exhibitions.
Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum (Sofo), in Woodstock, will be putting previously unseen objects from its archives on display.
It has also launched a new audio guide, voiced by comedian Al Murray - who studied history at the University of Oxford before launching his entertainment career.
A special 10th anniversary display opened on 1 June and will run until the end of September.
It looks back at some of the museum’s most significant moments and stories.
The independent museum aims to tell the stories of the county and its people, as well as the impact historic global conflicts have had on them.
This includes preserving the history of two renowned county regiments - the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and Winston Churchill’s regiment, the Queens Own Oxfordshire Hussars.
Sofo shares its site with Oxfordshire County Council's Oxfordshire Museum.
Chairman David Shouesmith said: “We very much look forward to a future of close collaboration with the Oxfordshire Museum and the county heritage team as we develop our stories of how the people in our county have experienced, directly and indirectly, conflict over the years.”
As part of the anniversary, the museum has also revamped its Secret War display, which explores the county's connection with espionage.
It combines the world of Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, with the beginnings of intelligence from the exploits and lives of Oxfordshire men and women during the Second World War.
