As people go to the polls across England, 10 combined authority or metropolitan mayoral elections - including the Mayor of London - are taking place.
These are in addition to the council elections in 107 local authorities, and 37 elections for police and crime commissioners (PCCs) in England and Wales.
There will also be a by-election for the new MP for Blackpool South, following the resignation of former Conservative MP Scott Benton.
