Crawley will see its town centre fountain switched back on after being out of use for four years.
The Queens Square fountain was turned off at the start of the pandemic.
Crawley councillor Atif Nawaz told BBC Radio Sussex the water display had suffered a "technical issue".
However, he said it will return for the Spring Fun event in Crawley town centre on 16 March.
Mr Nawaz said: “The mayor will officially switch on the fountain at 13:00 GMT."
He added the council had spent £170,000 repairing the fountain, which was originally installed in 2017 for £554,000.
