Extra parking spaces at gym after complaints

Gym users have say they struggle to find parking at peak times

More spaces will be added to a leisure centre car park to tackle a shortage for gym-goers.
There will be 22 extra spaces added to the Bert Williams Leisure Centre car park in Bilston, Wolverhampton, after complaints that there were not enough.
The application said gym members struggled to find a space during busy periods, and drivers often left cars on verges, double yellow lines and crossings.
The work can now go ahead after a planning application was approved by the City of Wolverhampton Council.
Improvements will also be made to the car park's main crossing. This follows concerns raised about its safety for pupils from the neighbouring Ormiston SWB Academy, who use it to access sports facilities at the leisure centre.
This news was gathered by the Local Democracy Reporting Service which covers councils and other public service organisations.
