A flock of about 90 sheep has been stolen from a field, according to police.

Officers said they were appealing for witnesses after the animals were stolen from a field in Hickling Way, Cannock, Staffordshire.

The continental ewes, with blue markings on their backs, were taken between 16-24 September, a spokesperson for Staffordshire Police added.

Anyone with information about the theft was urged to contact the force with details.
