Police are warning islanders of the minimum age requirements for people using electric bikes.

Bailiwick Law Enforcement said it had seen an increase in the number of children using e-bikes and parents buying them for them for their children.

It said children must be aged 14 and over to use e-bikes on public roads.

A liaison officer was working with schools to help educate pupils and retailers had also been made aware, the force said.
