Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a petrol station in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said cash and alcohol were both stolen during the raid at the Gulf petrol station in Raynesway, Alvaston at about 23:15 BST on Tuesday 27 May.

A cordon was set up on the forecourt of the station after the raid was discovered.

Officers said they were particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed what happened.
