Girl dies at beauty spot after incident in water

An 11-year-old girl has died at a Cornwall beauty spot after an incident in the water.
Emergency services were called to Wacker Quay at Antony, Torpoint, after concerns were raised for a person in the water at about 18:00 BST on Saturday.
The girl, from the South Devon area, was recovered and given emergency treatment but died at the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police said her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force added the girl's next of kin have been informed and will be supported by officers.
