Jersey adventure park to close in 2025

A popular family attraction is set to close after almost 25 years.
Jersey's aMaizin! Adventure Park attracts up to 90,000 visitors a year but the owners, Carlton and Kristina Le Feuvre, plan to close the attraction and retire to focus on their family on 31 August 2025.
The owners said they had no plans for housing on the site or to sell the land and that staff members had been consulted throughout the process.
"This has been an extremely difficult and emotional decision for us to make because we have absolutely loved the journey of growing a destination for families, creating activities and experiences, and seeing our young guests grow and flourish," said Mrs Le Feuvre.
The attraction, which includes indoor and outdoor activities and a farm park, first opened to visitors in 2001.
'Our amazing staff'
"Following many discussions between Carlton and I and our daughter Francesca who joined the business in 2019, we now need the flexibility to have more time for ourselves and our family," said Mrs Le Feuvre.
"We love living on the farm and have no wish to sell up and move on so have made the difficult decision to close the business in its current format."
The owners said they hoped the building and land would continue to have a community feel and subject to planning, would look for a "less intensive use" for the property.
They added that existing tenants, including the K9 Wellness Centre, would remain open once the park closed.
Mrs Le Feuvre added: "We would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us through our journey of transforming a farm into a recreation and retail business and to our amazing staff whose hard work has made all those memorable experiences possible."
