Two men were hurt following early hours disorder in Birmingham city centre.
West Midlands Police said officers were called to Broad Street on Friday, where two men had been assaulted.
The incident happened at about 05:20 GMT but nobody was seriously hurt.
Four men were arrested and faced questioning in custody, the force added.
"Two men were assaulted by a group of men and were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries," a statement read.
"Following a search of the area, officers located the suspects and arrested them for assault.
"Four men, all aged 19, remain in custody for questioning."
